Tips on video for applying cosemetics...

Do women wear makeup because it is a type of fashion? Or is makeup used as a kind of body fashion competition with other women? I have sometimes heard that women dress up fashionably to compete with other women, or to show off their designer clothes. But is that really true? And, also, do women primarily dress up and apply makeup to impress and attract the eyes of other women or is all that intended primarily for men? I think I will put that question out there for some Hubpages writers to answer. I am not sure of the answer myself.

The History of Makeup and Cosmetics
This history of makeup near as my research shows, has been long as well as cross cultural. Makeup and cosmetics were used by the incredibly beautiful women of Egypt eons ago as well as the women of the Orient. Did women in those faraway times use makeup and cosmetics for the same purposes that women do today? I wonder what makeup will look like or be composed of 100 or 500 years from now. Will it be basically the same or different in some way, what way I do not know.
I also wonder how much money a woman spends on average each year in the purchase of makeup and other cosmetics? I wonder if different types of makeup are used for different types of occasions? I wonder as well what the total hours per year a woman spends putting on and taking off makeup. Curious too I wonder what age is makeup first used, what is the average age of a woman who uses makeup and at what age, on average, does a woman stop using makeup? Is there any relationship between hormone levels and makeup? All good questions about makeup and cosmetics that I, being a guy, don't have answers to. The mysterious world of makeup. Why do Women Risk Death to Wear Makeup?

What if the use of makeup by the women is to cause, shake and stir fear in their men about how really beautiful there women are? Would the women begin to have more authority in the home as well as the country? Would the appearance of makeup shake their men to their knees? The use of makeup is clearly a threat to Iranian national security otherwise the women would not risk death. Who will raise the children after the mother dies?
Are there other countries in the world that ban the use of makeup and cosmetics? More questions that I do not have answers for. Regardless, makeup is here to stay. By the way, I do like makeup on women.

| A romantic walk together as the sun sets, then to start the bonfire by the sea for the bar-b-que and then off to the disco, a short 5 minute walk. That is a recipe for a wonderful first date. |
